Wausau Elks Lodge #248

Dear Fellow Elk 248 Members,

Our Wisconsin State Elks convention was a highly successful event made possible by over 50 volunteers and our employees. Over 300 fellow Elks had the opportunity to witness what makes our lodge a truly special place. Our people made the difference and we all should be proud of reinforcing our reputation as a top lodge in the state. Thank You!

Recently the growth committee sponsored our first spaghetti dinner; it too exceeded everyone’s expectations with over eighty guests enjoying the volunteer’s great buffet. We will have a second helping on August 12^th complete with music. But as they say on TV “that’s not all”, look for our new outdoor patio inaugural party on June 12^th with a DJ and great food. Nice work is being done by our new growth committee and our patio project crew made this outdoor space a great fresh air relaxation area.

June also brings some traditional activity with Kids fishing and Open Bass tournament on Saturday 5^th and Sunday 6^th. Monday 7^th is our spring golf outing. While these events are a great benefit to us and our guests, let’s not forget our country on Flag Day. Fly our national ensign at home and attend the public ceremony in the 400 block on June 14^th. We are good patriotic Elks, show your pride in America, she needs it right now.

For our active members, the lodge and club activities are a great source of enjoyment and friendship. If it has been a while, consider dropping by and enjoying what many enjoy frequently. Better yet, bring a guest. It will be our pleasure to see you. On Friday nights, our greeter will make your visit even more enjoyable. We value your business.

Working with great people, makes hard work a pleasure. Our volunteers are a blessing that show every month.
